A butter board is like a cheese board, but instead of cheese, you spread butter across the board and add your favorite garnishes right on top.

Aside from the butter, you can add all you favorite toppings. If you want to do a sweet board, whip up some cinnamon butter and top with chocolate and fruit slices. For a savory board, top with salt, garlic, and seeds. Or do a mixture of both for multiple flavors in one.

If you're really missing charcuterie boards, or you're not a huge fan of butter, just use goat cheese instead! It still provides that creamy base, but it gives you a cheesy flavor that cannot be beat. Hot honey adds some spice that doesn't overpower the rest of the flavor, and nuts (or seeds if you or a guest can't have nuts) provide a crunchy texture that the board lacks otherwise.
