Are we getting The Bear Season 3?
Yes, The Bear season 3 is coming! FX announced on November 6 that a third installment of the hit TV was coming, with a promise that it'd hit screens before the end of 2024. Because the WGA strike ended, the show can enter pre-production, which includes writing all of the scripts.
When is The Bear Season 3 coming out?
Seasons 1 and 2 of The Bear filmed in February and premiered in June of 2022 and 2023, respectively. The Bear season 3 will begin filming at the end of Februrary/beginning of March 2024, via Deadline, and we're hoping to see new episodes by the end of 2024. Until then, feel free to rewatch Season 1 and 2 on Hulu — I know I will.
Who's going to be in The Bear Season 3?
You can expect all your favorite The Bear cast members to return for season 3 including Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson.
Jeremy Allen White also told Deadline that he'd love to see another episode where “we can get as many (guest stars) to come back for one day,” just like the family Christmas episode of The Bear season 2. Whether we see Olivia Coleman and Will Poulter again, or we get a slew of new guest stars, I'm *totally* here for it.
Who are the Faks in The Bear?
The Faks are family friends of the Berzattos. The two Faks we know best are the hilarious brothers Neil (Matty Matheson) and Theodore (Ricky Staffieri). Neil is always around to help Carmy and the gang fix something (because, naturally, something is *always* broken) and we hope he's around a lot more for The Bear season 3!

Why is Carmy called Bear?
Carmy's last name is Berzatto, so multiple family members are called different forms of "Bear" as a family nickname or term of endearment (like "Sugar Bear" or "Mikey Bear"). Carmy is most frequently referred to as just "Bear," and decides to name his restaurant The Bear.
