Taylor Swift Has A New Song Featured In 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 2 Trailer

What do beach afternoons, amazing music and super cute best-friends-turned-something-more all have in common? They're all a part of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2. After all, the story takes place on Cousins Beach and the ultra trendy soundtrack from the first season nearly broke the internet, especially since they featured brand new Taylor Swift rerecords — and this season is no different.

Who Doesn't Love A T. Swift x 'TSITP' Collab?

We know we do. In continuing with the theme for the first season, we're already hearing rerecords of some of Taylor Swift's most popular songs. The trailer is set to Swift's upcoming release, "Crying (Taylor's Version)," and shows the complicated relationships between our favorite Cousins Beach summer residents. It looks like this time around we'll get a look into their lives, romances, and drama throughout the whole year — not just the summer — and we have so many questions. Are Taylor and Steven finally getting together? Will Susannah be okay? Why is everyone crying?!

Taylor Swift Is Featured In The Teaser Trailer, Too

With an ethereal, cinematic version of Taylor Swift's "august" in the background, we get our first glimpse of Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah, and the rest of the cast.

In a hilarious skit, Jenny Han sends the cast of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 2 the date of the premiere. It's only after they post all over social media that they realize Jenny sent it to them on accident! (We're not complaining, though).

The New Poster Is Giving Us More Questions Than Answers

Belly used to count down the days until she could return to Cousins Beach, but with Conrad and Jeremiah fighting over her heart and the return of Susannah's cancer, she's not sure summer will ever be the same. When an unexpected visitor threatens the future of Susannah's beloved house, Belly has to rally the gang to come together — and to decide once and for all where her heart lies.

'It's Not Summer Without You'

Lola Tung as Belly in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" Season 2

Season 1 ends in a similar way to the first book, so it's safe to assume that season 2 will have elements of the second book, It's Not Summer Without You. But we also know that we're getting new characters, so it could be a mix of familiar and new plot points!
